• NORTH END coffee roasters

  Named after Boston's North End. They have sourced and roasted in-house since 2011 — the earliest of the six we list — with 14 Dhaka cafés and one in Ukhiya. Small-batch roasting; they have worked with Hill Tracts farmers and NGOs since then.

• Udoy Coffee

  They say they roast small batches at a Shariatpur estate and sell no bag more than 15 days after roast. Their site also lists machines, micro-cafés, a Mohakhali DOHS shop, and a 2025 founding.

• KIVA HAN Coffee Co.

  Named for Istanbul's first coffee house. Flagship café opened in Gulshan-1 in 2013; their shop says they started roasting in Dhaka that year. Beans from Latin America, Indonesia, and East Africa, roasted on a human-controlled machine.

• East Bengal Coffee Roasters

  Established 2023. Roastery at Kuril Chowrasta, café in Gulshan 2; they roast espresso for shops and specialty lots for home. Bags we catalog are 220 g. Order via Facebook.

  Est. 2024. Roast to order — they say every bag ships within 48 hours of roasting, not from a stockpile. Based at Kuril; we only list their whole beans, not drip or cold-brew packs.
