How brew fit is assessed
How we score
AI assesses brew fit from public shop listings. It can make mistakes, and we do not cup the beans. You see qualitative labels — bad, workable, good — plus a short note for why, not numbers.
We do not publish shop rankings. Lists are sorted for how you brew, not as a quality league table.
High confidence only when the shop names a brew method. Roast color and tasting notes alone are our read.
Where our information comes from
- Bean facts
- Names, origins, processes, prices, availability, and product images come from roasters’ public listings or menus. Shops handle orders and checkout.
- Brew fit
- AI assesses fit from public shop descriptions and labels the reasoning. These recommendations may be wrong and do not mean we have tasted the beans.
- Roaster’s notes
- When a roaster gives us a note directly, we show it in their words and attribute it to them. Udoy Coffee supplied the notes on select Udoy bean pages directly to The Bangla Brew; those notes were not scraped from its product listings.
